we've come across Michael Aston we few times, once at Lost 80's live at Fiddlers Green and again recently at Ophelia's, he had that 'Rock Star' vibe going on, easy to hang out with, just kinda cool.. he signed up all our Vinyl and a sweet boot for our collection! We'll get him in the shop next time to Denver!
this is the third time I got to Dj the open for Howard Jones over the years. This time at The Oriental Theater. His sold out show rocked Saturday night and after, we got him to autograph this old Dr. Martens 8 eye for the shops boot collection and a few of his records!
this was a great day - we traded TUK Creepers for the hook up to meet Midge Ure and it was well worth it! This Scottish Bad Ass was big time involved with Live Aid and co-wrote Band Aid's 'Do They Know it's Christmas'. (i didn't realize this is the second best selling single in the UK's history, wow!)
Gabriel plays horns for the Untouchables but also was one of the founding members of No Doubt! kind'a cool to have him in the shop!
The Untouchables - Los Angeles Jerry and the gang did a meet & greet at the shop this week before their show at The Oriental Theater.  the boys all signed up this classic 'Made in the UK' 8 eye Dr. Martens left to us by good friend of the shop Leo Cassil.  These boots were well loved for 4 years every day - he said he was returning them to "Valhalla" (Norse Mythology where those who have died in battle/war go to)  I kind of liked that..
.. all time favorite..
To have Mark in the shop for a second time... dreams come true, and.. to have my daughter with us was so special (she know the bands music)
Mark hopped on our 65 Vespa in the shop, i think he would have take it out if we had gas!!
