Oh Me, Oh My - too many choices!
We let the boys from Modern English loose in the shop, it took them awhile but they chose some bad ass Dr. Martens & TUK creepers!

Gathering Dust? No Way, My records have been tearing up Denver's dance floors since 1983. This copy of "I Melt With You" is the same one you danced to at Thirsty's, Mardi Gras, Rock Island and MilkBar... it's super rad to have the band sign it up!
we've had some rare boots in the shop over they years from Dr. Martens, but none as rare as the 'Bape 10 eye steel toe'. We set Gary McDowell from Modern English up with these super limited edition boots and he rocked them that night on stage at the Oriental.  Stephen Walker on keyboards with our Vegan Cherry Chelsea boots
Modern English stopped in the shop before their show with the Alarm. Robbie, Mick, Gary & Stephen all came in and signed up this "Old English" made 10 eye ;) We set them up with Dr. Martens and TUK. Shoes. They all wore their new kicks for the gig that night at The Oriental Theater + they gave us a sweet shout out from stage
last summer we got to hang with A Flock Of Seagulls front man and founder Mike Score after his show at Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre. It was crazy he remembered his visit to FashioNation back in 2001 "O`ya the Dr. Martens shop". We set Mike and the band up with boots on that visit
Martin Atkins came by the shop, Riveting Music was doing an interview with him. Martin was in town for a DJ gig at REQUIEM.  He's has been a part of so many of our favorite bands over the years Pil, NiN, Revco, Ministry, Pigface...  he signed up all our records and had rad stories about the big Revco show at the gothic!
a space was needed for an interview with Martin Atkins. He was in town for a Dj gig at Tracks Denver, how could we say no! After hanging out with him we found him to be really one of the good guys!  He's been in so many of our favorite bands! Martin signed up all our vinyl he was a part of :)  - can't wait till he returns to Denver!
Thrill Kill's Buzz McCoy & Groovie Mann have been in the shop a bunch of times over the years. This time they were in town we got them to sign up an old Dr. Martens 10 eye for the collection!  They played the Marquis to a sold out crowd - this boot is totally "Kooler than Jesus" now ;)
Another magical day at the shop, i remember buying 'Murderous' at Wax Trax Records back in '86 and thinking how cool this band is. 33 years later and we're still rock'n them and to have Nitzer-Ebb.com back in the shop! super cool!!!Â
A big gap between visits, but that's Ok, we got to have to have all the guys back in FashioNation before their Sold Out show at The Oriental. Douglas was at the old shop on 13th back on 2009, remarkably he remembered a lot about the old shop including our friend Rachael's giant dog 'Sebastian' who was hanging out that day
